The 2009 schedule will not be finalized until just before the event. Here is the final schedule from the 2008 event. Most of the activities listed will be offered again, so this will give you a good idea of the things to do at the 2009 event.


Thursday, March 12th
8:00am-8:00pm Sutler & Education Day Participants Set Up Camps

Friday, March 13th

8:00am-12:00 midnight Registration and set up camps
8:30am - 9:00am Meeting with all Education Day Participants in the Barn
9:30am -2:00pm "Education Day" for local schools
5:30 -7:00pm Appreciation BBQ for Education Day Reenactors (ticket only) at the Barn.
Saturday, March 14th
6:30am -2:00pm Registration Open
7:00 - 8:00am Unscripted Skirmish
9:00 - 9:30am Joint USA/CSA Colors & Opening Ceremony
9:00am - 5:00pm Camps open to the public
9:30 -10:00am Officer's Call--Confederate Camp
10:30 -11:00am Medical Demonstration at the Union Camp
11:00 -12:00 noon Ladies' Tea in the Barn
11:30am -12:30pm Live-fire cannon at the North end of the Battlefield
12:30pm - 1:00pm Cavalry Demonstration at the Battlefield
1:00 - 1:15pm Scholarship Award Presentation at the Battlefield
1:15 - 2:00pm 97th Penn. String Band in Concert on the Battlefield Stage
1:30 - 1:45pm Musket inspection in formation by the Safety Committee
2:00 - 3:00pm Battle
3:15 - 3:45pm Blacksmith Demonstration in the Sutler Area
4:00 - 6:30pm Live-Fire Musket Competition at the North End of the Battlefield
8:00 - 10:00pm Civil War Era Dance in the Barn, featuring the 97th Penn. String Band (Reenactors and Guests only)

Sunday, March 15th

9:30 - 10:00am Officer's Call at the Union Camp
10:00 - 11:00am Church Service in the Barn
11:15 - 11:45am Medical Demonstration at the Union Camp
11:45am - 12:45pm Artillery Demonstration at the Confederate Camp
12:15 - 12:45pm Mortar Competition at the South end of the Battlefield
1:00 - 1:15pm Musket inspection in Formation by the Safety Committee
12:45 - 1:30pm 97th Penn. String Band Concert at the Battlefield Stage
1:45 - 2:00pm Grand Review of the Troops and Live Fire Awards.
2:00 - 3:00pm Battle
3:15 - 3:30pm Blacksmith Demonstration in the Sutler Area
4:00pm Camps closed to the public--strike the Camps
