Basic Rules of the 2009 Reenactment

Battlefield Rules
- For Security reasons, medallions must be worn at all times by all participants ages 9 & up.
- The buildings and items in the center of the battlefield are OFF LIMITS to everyone!
- Only Officers and Cavalry are allowed to carry pistols during the battle
- Overall decisions as to disposition of the troops will ultimately be made by the Confederate and Union Commanders on-site. The Confederate Commander is Gen. Mike Hardy and the Union Commander is Col. Leroy Sherman.
- Emergencies are to be reported to medical personnel on the battlefield.
- All weapons are to be inspected and tagged by Safety Officers prior to the battle.
- No unscripted hand-to-hand combat will be allowed.
- Ramrods are not to be drawn during battle.
- All horses must have current Coggin papers before being allowed on the property.
Authentic Camp Rules
- All modern items must be out of view during public hours.
- All persons living in camp during public hours (9am - 5pm) MUST BE IN 1860's ATTIRE.
- ALL CAMPFIRES MUST BE IN PITS SURROUNDED BY DIRT AND ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES AND FILLED IN AFTER THE EVENT. (Officers are responsible to see that this procedure is followed)
- Quiet Hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am. The Provost will enforce this rule!
- No vehicles are to be parked in the Authentic Camp area. Vehicles must be parked in the designated parking areas only.
- All vehicles are to be out of the Camps by 8:00am Saturday and Sunday.
Modern Camp Rules
- No generators are to be used between 11:00pm and 7:00am. The Provost will enforce this rule.
- Quiet Hours are from 11:00pm to 7:00am
- RVs with generators will be in a separate area of Modern Camp.
- ALL CAMPFIRES MUST BE IN PITS SURROUNDED BY DIRT AND ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES AND FILLED IN AFTER THE EVENT. (Officers are responsible to see that this procedure is followed)
- ALL 4-WHEELERS MUST STAY IN MODERN CAMP.
